Privacy Policy for BrewBook Last Updated: June 29, 2026 BrewBook (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use BrewBook. BrewBook is a personal coffee journal and collection tracker designed to help you record coffee experiences, manage your coffee collection, and view personal statistics. 1. Information Stored in the App BrewBook allows you to create and manage information such as: Coffee types and custom coffee names Cafe names Coffee ratings Prices Dates Flavor tags Personal notes Favorite status Coffee wishlist items Coffee photos selected from your device Collection progress and achievement information App preferences, such as theme settings This information is stored locally on your device. We do not receive, access, transmit, or store this information on our servers. 2. Photos and Photo Library Access BrewBook may request permission to access your photo library when you choose to add a photo to a coffee record. The App only accesses photos that you choose through the system photo picker or the permissions provided by your device. Your photos are: Used only to create and display your coffee records Stored locally on your device Not uploaded to our servers Not shared with us Not used for advertising, analytics, artificial intelligence training, or user profiling You may manage or revoke photo access at any time through your device settings. 3. Information We Do Not Collect BrewBook does not collect: Your name Your email address Your phone number Your account information Precise or approximate location Device identifiers Advertising identifiers Health or fitness information Payment information Browsing history Contacts Tracking information Usage analytics Crash data sent to us Photos or coffee records stored on our servers BrewBook does not require account registration or login. 4. Local Data Storage All coffee records, photos, preferences, collection progress, achievements, and other App content are stored locally on your device. Your information remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, or back it up using features provided by your device or operating system. Depending on your device settings, operating-system backup services may include BrewBook data in a device backup. Such backups are controlled by you and the relevant operating-system or cloud-service provider. BrewBook does not operate or control those backup services. 5. Data Export and Import BrewBook may allow you to export your coffee records as a local data file and import a previously exported file. Exporting or importing data is initiated and controlled by you. When you export or share a file using your device’s system sharing options, the selected application or service may process that file according to its own privacy policy. We do not control how third-party applications selected by you handle exported files. Please review the privacy practices of any service you choose before sharing your exported data. 6. Sharing Features BrewBook may allow you to create a shareable coffee card containing information you select, such as: A coffee photo Coffee type Cafe name Rating A short note The App does not automatically publish or upload this content. Sharing only occurs after you choose a destination through your device’s system sharing interface. You are responsible for reviewing the content before sharing it. 7. Third-Party Services BrewBook does not integrate third-party: Advertising networks Analytics services Tracking technologies Artificial intelligence services Social media login services Payment services Cloud database services We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. 8. Tracking and Advertising BrewBook does not track you across apps or websites. The App does not use advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, cookies, behavioral advertising, or cross-app tracking technologies. BrewBook does not display third-party advertisements. 9. Data Retention and Deletion Your information remains on your device until you: Edit or delete an individual coffee record Use the “Clear All Data” feature Delete exported files manually Uninstall BrewBook Erase or reset your device Deleting the App generally removes locally stored App data. However, copies may remain in device backups controlled by you or your operating-system provider. Because we do not receive or store your data on our servers, we cannot remotely access, recover, edit, or delete your local records. 10. Data Security BrewBook is designed to minimize privacy risks by keeping your information on your device and avoiding external data transmission. The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of your device. We recommend that you: Use a device passcode or biometric protection Keep your operating system updated Protect exported data files Avoid sharing sensitive information in coffee notes Store backups securely No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. 11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights You remain in control of the information stored in BrewBook. You may: View your coffee records Edit your records Delete individual records Clear all locally stored data Export your data Revoke photo-library access Uninstall the App Because BrewBook does not receive or maintain your personal information on external servers, privacy requests relating to your coffee records can generally be completed directly through the App or your device settings. 12. Children’s Privacy BrewBook is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13 or the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users because BrewBook does not transmit user records to our servers. 13. International Users BrewBook may be available to users in different countries and regions. Regardless of your location, BrewBook’s core privacy approach remains the same: your coffee records are stored locally and are not collected by us. Where applicable privacy laws provide rights concerning personal information, those rights may generally be exercised through the App’s local editing, exporting, and deletion features because we do not possess a server-side copy of your information. 14. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when BrewBook’s features, technology, or legal obligations change. When changes are made, the updated version will include a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated within the App or through the App Store listing.
